Reflective Landscapes

Reflective Landscapes looks at the evolutionary properties of forest as an ecosystem and sees the seedling as intelligent life that grows to maturity in the most optimal place. In collaboration with the Textiellab, two nocturnal forest scenes have been woven into tapestries. By using light-reflecting and light-absorbing yarn, the experience of the forest at night is reconstructed in textiles. The viewer is immersed in the nocturnal world of the forest, where other details reveal themselves in the darkness of the night. A new world becomes visible that we normally ignore.
